Before you trust someone in your facility Ask these question

Experience

How many years have you been in business, and how many clients do you serve? How long have you provided janitorial services for your longest running client?

What will your company's role be?

It is very important for you, the client to understand the difference between a janitorial company and a facilitator. Is the company quoting your services actually capable of providing quality service, or will they be selling your contract to another company for pennies on the dollar? Do not be afraid to ask if they plan to service your facility, you may be surprised at the answer you receive!

Additional Services

Other than basic janitorial services, what else can I count on you to provide? Is your company qualified to perform services such as Covid-19 disinfecting, Sanitizing, carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, etc. or will I have to locate another vendor for these services? 

Training Methods

What is your process to assure that new staff members are trained appropriately before they are trusted to service my facility?

Custom Cleaning Plans

Do you do the same services everywhere you clean or can you tailor your services to fit the needs of our facility? Not all buildings are created equal, so they have many different needs!

Defined Methods of Communication

If we have a emergency who do we contact? Can we get in touch with someone on weekends, nights, etc. Who do I call if I have a problem? 

Satisfaction

What do you do as a company to assure that from day to day or week to week, I am pleased with the services I am receiving from your company?

Supervision

Do you have supervisors that oversee your staff? What is the chain of command and staffing plan you would have in place for my facility?

Billing

How do you bill? Can I expect a simple bill one time per month or will you need to receive a check weekly, bi-weekly, etc.?

Contract

Will you begin services without a contract? If not, why? If a company provides great services, they do not need a long-term contract!

**Bonus**

This is important!

Are you licensed in all areas you provide services and insured? Do you have Workers Compensation insurance on all employees? Can you provide proof of all of the above?
